Syndeysider Peter Lonard has grabbed a share of 5th place at Firestone with 3 holes remaining in his round.
If he can par out from here (or better) he will complete a wonderful effort around this beast of a course that is Firestone.
What a great warm up for him going into the PGA.
Stuart Appleby is one back of Lonard at 2 over and tied for 4th. He has 6 holes left, and will do well to par in from here.
But hats off to Lonard.
