Good question.
There are some big names gone already. So whose left. Who has the game? Who is going to win. Here’s what I think.
Padraig Harrington and Justin Rose, are big shows. Playing well, every week, consistent and their games suit the course. Accurate off the tee, not extra long, and good iron players. I’d love [...]

Here’s a list of the dead.

Romero out of PGA Contention

He’s out of this one.
I thought he would get back from 6 over. But alas the humble little man has waved tirah to this one at 11 over with a hole to play.
He’s not the worst. There’s 4 other behind him. Cabrera joins him at 11 over and is sitting in the clubhouse with 81….dazed.
These [...]
Graeme Storm’s Home to Lead PGA

Well he didnt actually storm home. He turned 4 under, and completed a 1 under back nine to cruise home. But he won’t be caught and will lead this overnight.
The course is killing most players. It’s brutal out there which makes Graeme’s round all the more amazing. England 1, Rest of World zero. Oh hang [...]

I love these stories.
It’s fantastic to see regular golf pros competing against the worlds best and beating them. Look at this guys profile. He’s won a Nationwide event in 1997….ten years back, and makes a living coaching golf at The University of Illinois. Here he is 2 under through 7, and on course to post a [...]
Romero 6 over thru 11 in PGA

AHe can recover from here. He’s shown he can.
But the dynamic shotmaker is in danger of having too much work to do if he can’t get it in the clubhouse at 6 over or better. Thats 11 shots back of Graeme Storm whose moved to 5 under thru 12 so he’s way back given he [...]
Angel Cabrera Shoots 10 on Par 3 in PGA

Wow.
Poor ole Angel. Current US Open champ Angel Cabrera is having a nightmare around Southern Hills today.
All thanks to one hole.
Square after 5 holes, he walked off the par 3 sixth 7 over the card with a 10. Yep, 10. Have a look at this card.Thats wild. He must be in lala land now….wondering what [...]
Michael Campbell Out of PGA Contention

He was travelling beautifully at 1 under after 6, and looked like he was going to turn a t 1 under. But appearances are deceptive.
In true Campbell style he’s gone bogey, par, double, double to be 4 over after 10.
He’s dropped 5 shots in 4 holes and is on the verge to waving goodbye to [...]

PGA Leader Graham Storm 4 Under

Graeme Storm is having an incredible round through 10 holes of the PGA at Southern Hills, Tulsa. Incredible because the course has already exacted some casualties.
He leads John Daly by 1 who is drinking beers in the clubhouse enjoying his 3 under 67. John who? Yep John Daly who won this back in 1991. Goooo [...]
